Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – February 9, 2021 – UBS has named Andrew Dumas as Executive Director and Head of Policy Governance for its Consolidated US Operations. Mr. Dumas brings two decades of financial, legal, and regulatory experience helping global Financial Institutions implement initiatives to mitigate risk, maximize efficiencies, lead regulatory programs to ensure business compliance with applicable Laws and Regulations. 

In this newly created role, Mr. Dumas will have oversight of the entire CUSO policy governance framework and ensure alignment with the UBS Group Compliance, Regulatory and Governance Priorities. 

During a recent interview, Mr. Dumas made these comments, “I could not be more excited to join a firm and a team that believes so deeply that its people and its culture are essentials keys to the firm harnessing it’s growth potential.” 

Prior to joining UBS, Dumas has served in roles including Managing Director & Chief Governance and Compliance Officer for Citibank N. A. as well the Chief Compliance Officer and Head of AML program Management for Eurazeo – Planet Payment. 

Dumas is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Virginia School of Law. 

Andrew Dumas serves on a number of non-profit boards including Live Greater, Black Millennial Investors Education Council and Diversity Inc. Mr. Dumas previously served as a Trustee for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Patron with the Barnes Foundation; an advisory board member of New York Lawyers for Public Interest; and a member of the diversity advisory committee of Inclusion, among many other board posts. Dumas is also a member of the Historic African Episcopal Church of Saint Thomas and serves as the Finance Officer for it’s Men’s Fellowship.
