New York DJ & Entrepreneur Franklin Santana has been consistantly making his rounds in the nightlife & hospitality business. Born To A Colombian Mother & A Dominican Father, Franklin learned at an early age that everything is possible if you work hard at it. Franklin’s journey started when he was only 14 years old. At the time he starting organizing events for teens his age, known as “teen bash parties” From the success of those events he then decided to start his career as a DJ at the age of 17. As a DJ he has been able to display his skill set amongst thousands at NYC’s most elite venues.
At the age of 30 Franklin decided to open his first lounge in Astoria, Queens known today as Chill Astoria, a very popular hot spot operating 7 days a week. Since his involvement in owning the same venues he once used to play music for he has been able to open up several successful lounges throughout New York City, Venues like: LIVE, Republic Astoria, Praga Woodside, Coffee Ave Astoria along with new & upcoming projects launching 2023.
Born in Queens, New York, Franklin Santana has become a staple in the nightlife industry. The young entrepreneur has been able to use his DJ techniques & extensive nightlife experience to provide employment for many & their families as well as for his family. The father of 2 twin girls thrives on providing opportunities for those in need and dedicates a lot to giving back through philanthropy.
A day in Mr. Santana’s shoes starts in the gym, followed by a series of phone calls with managers. A vist to his accountant is a must, to ensure each business is operating under plan along with a visit to his under construction projects to lend a hand & make sure everything is moving according to plan. Lastly a visit to each location is part of his daily regimen for any necessary updates & needs for each business.
Franklin Santana hopes to gather all his ambition, spiritual beliefs, and over the top passion for success to provide the best in hospitality. He has alligned the right partnerships, vast experience which undoubtedly gives him an edge as he has a keen understanding of supplying what the hospitality & nightlife industry demands. He hopes to one day reach the milestones of A Tao Group. Until then he appreciates all the support from his patrons, partners & staff that have made this all possible.
