Soltech Re-Launches the Aura™, the World’s First Ambient Grow Light, Now Open for Pre-Order

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania – November 3, 2026 – Soltech, the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania–based designer of grow lights for the home, today announced that the re-engineered Aura™ Ambient Grow Light is now available for pre-order at soltech.com. Priced at $250, the new Aura is estimated to ship in February 2027.

The Aura is a table lamp that doubles as a full-spectrum grow light. It gives off a warm 3000K glow for living spaces while supporting the growth of nearby houseplants. Soltech describes the Aura as the first ambient grow light. Designed in Italy by award-winning designer Matteo Ragni, the original edition sold out three times and received a 2026 iF Design Award.

After thousands of Auras shipped to customers, Soltech used their feedback to rebuild the lamp. The new edition keeps the original design and the same light output. Inside, the electronics have been upgraded for longer-lasting performance, including a new in-line dimmer. The lamp now comes on a choice of Beechwood or Dark Walnut bases, and its packaging has been redesigned to protect it in transit.
