Starting at an early age with an SH-101 synth, a microphone, a bass guitar, and a couple of tape decks, NUDNIK transformed from a boundary-pushing musician into a dynamic, multi-talented artist. Hailing from Miami, Florida, Robert Lieblein first made waves as a musician with the band Question Reality. He later dove into filmmaking at the University of Central Florida, sharpening his creative edge. His journey took him to Sony Music Studios in New York City, where he honed his craft in motion graphics and video editing, fueling his bold artistic vision. His background in filmmaking and visual design adds depth to his musical presentations, creating an immersive experience that goes beyond traditional album releases.
NUDNIK’s debut album, iNODE, draws inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, including Duran Duran, Love & Rockets, Jane’s Addiction, Nine Inch Nails, Wilco, and Radiohead. The album’s standout songs, “Feel Like Nixon” and “Bye Bye Butterfly,” are already gaining traction among listeners, showcasing NUDNIK’s intricate guitar work and dynamic basslines, creating immersive soundscapes that balance between gentle melodies and powerful compositions.
