Fort Wayne, IN – May 16, 2025 – Blackburn Romey, a trusted personal injury law firm serving Indiana, is proud to announce its continued partnership with WANE 15 for the 2025 Founder’s Day of Caring Food Drive, a community-wide initiative dedicated to addressing food insecurity across Fort Wayne.
This year’s drive is part of Nexstar’s 29th Annual Founder’s Day of Caring, which unites local organizations and businesses to give back in tangible ways. The focus for 2025 is supporting those experiencing hunger by collecting essential food donations for Community Harvest Food Bank.
2025 Food Drive in Fort Wayne
The food drive in Fort Wayne for 2025 invites local residents to come together to support families in need. With thousands of individuals in Northeast Indiana facing food insecurity, the drive aims to collect high-demand non-perishable food items that will go directly to those in need.
“The ability to help others is a privilege, and giving back is a fundamental part of who we are at Blackburn Romey,” said Tom Blackburn, founding partner. “We’re honored to be part of this effort and encourage the entire community to get involved.”
Where to Donate
Community members can drop off food donations at two Fort Wayne locations:
Now through June 19, 2025 Blackburn Romey Office 4203 W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
June 20, 2025 – One-Day Drop-Off Event WANE 15 Studio 2915 W. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
What to Donate
Donations should include shelf-stable, non-perishable items, such as:
Canned proteins (tuna, chicken)
Canned vegetables and fruits
Peanut butter
Canned soups and beans
Pasta, rice, and boxed dinners
Please Avoid Donating These –
Items in glass containers
Expired or opened products
Homemade foods
Every item donated will go directly to helping someone in need right here in our community.
