NEW YORK, NY – Global Game Changers: 50 Stories of Impact and Innovation, the inaugural publication by Stuyvesant High School junior Yana Bijoor, has garnered significant acclaim by securing three prestigious international literary awards in 2026. The self-published anthology, which spotlights fifty trailblazing social entrepreneurs and global innovators, was written specifically from a youth perspective to inspire the next generation of leaders.
The 2026 award circuit recognized Bijoor’s debut work across multiple highly competitive categories:
Demystifying Global Impact
Global Game Changers aims to introduce readers—particularly young adults—to visionary founders and practical solutions addressing the world’s most pressing issues. Bijoor wrote the collection to demonstrate that anyone can contribute to meaningful progress, regardless of age or experience.
“These 50 changemakers prove that meaningful impact doesn’t always require permission or credentials,” stated Bijoor. “It requires curiosity and the willingness to start. I hope the book inspires more young readers to look at global problems and ask what they can do.”
This empowering message resonated deeply with the award committees. Emily Slater, Book Awards Director at the Axiom Business Book Awards, praised the author’s vision and execution:
“Global Game Changers: 50 Stories of Impact and Innovation by Yana Bijoor is an inspiring and timely reminder of an age-old truth: one person’s actions can create a ripple effect that helps change the world. Bijoor’s dedication to highlighting the way communities are strengthened and improved through our joint efforts allows the stories of Global Game Changers to feel both aspirational and attainable.”
The Operating System of Change
Rather than suggesting a single silver bullet for complex crises like climate change, inequality, or hunger, Bijoor’s collection maps out an interconnected ecosystem of problem-solvers. The book profiles four distinct categories of catalysts whose complementary roles drive sustainable progress:
By highlighting how innovation, capital, policy, and grassroots power intertwine, Bijoor illustrates that impact multiplies when collective effort meets intention.
