Houston, TX – June 17, 2025 – Dr. Andrew Gomes, a nationally recognized Diagnostic and Non-Vascular Interventional Radiologist, with additional experience with Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) for traumatic brain injury (TBI), today announced the creation of the Dr. Andrew Gomes Scholarship for Veterans. Designed exclusively for undergraduate students who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, the annual award aims to ease the financial burden of higher education while celebrating the leadership and resilience forged through military service.
Applications for the inaugural scholarship cycle are now open. Veteran students have until March 15, 2026 to submit their materials, and the winner will be revealed on April 15, 2026.
