Let’s FLOPPY 3.0 Returns This June: Korea’s Premier Global Street Culture Convention

May 13 17:58 2025

Gwangju, South Korea – Let’s FLOPPY 3.0, Korea’s first global street culture convention, is set to take place on June 6–7, 2025 at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju. Celebrating the theme of “taste,” Let’s FLOPPY brings together street culture, music, fashion, food, craft beer, and D.I.Y workshops in a boundary-breaking cultural convergence that has grown significantly since its debut in 2023.

This year’s music lineup includes genre-blurring electronic band Glen Check, sentimental singer-songwriter MRCH, and smooth R&B artist george, promising an emotionally rich and stylish performance series.

The Talk Sessions will feature influential voices such as Minhyun Koo, creative director of iconic Korean street brand Kasina, AI content creator Ryan Ohsling (known for his digital alter ego), Taehwan Kim, breakout star of Netflix’s Singles Inferno 4, and the founders of PASSIONS, a fashion label launched by Palace designers and skateboarders often dubbed “the Supreme of the UK.”

Cultural and food brand exhibitions including grailz, JACKJACK, HOMELESSTACO, and WERK Roasters will also join the event, while this year’s newly introduced Craft Beer Gallery will spotlight five leading Korean breweries, such as Magpie Brewing co, Gorilla Brewing co, and Incheon Brewery.

Let’s FLOPPY 3.0 is also expanding its experiential offerings, with D.I.Y workshops, a “Taste Zone,” and the FLOPPY Gallery enabling more visitor participation. In a new Open Call Exhibition section, selected creators from a public contest will showcase their works, broadening the spectrum of expression and curation.

“Let’s FLOPPY has evolved beyond a ‘convention’ to become a community—a space where people connect and understand one another through their unique tastes,” says JiYun Kim, co-CEO of DoTPlanner. “This year, we’re curating a deeper storytelling experience exclusive to Gwangju.”

A key highlight will be the live visual performance program that blends street art and performance. Ryota Daimon from Japan and TulRexx from Thailand will present live airbrush drawing sessions, while special AI-powered experiences curated in collaboration with Carrot, Korea’s largest AI content platform, will include personalized AI curation zones and a creator booth hosted by speaker Ryan Gosling.

As part of the G-Festa, Gwangju local festival series, Let’s FLOPPY is set to amplify Gwangju’s creative youth energy nationwide. For visitors from Seoul and Gyeonggi, a shuttle service package is available via the Kakao Mobility app, Kakao T, improving accessibility to the venue.

Let’s FLOPPY is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization as part of a 3-year international convergence conference program from 2023. It is co-hosted by DoTPlanner and Gwangju Tourism Organization, with Dot Slash Dash, Carrot, and other partners providing further support.
