Watermelon cultivation is a signature agricultural industry in Zhongwei City, with over 400,000 mu (approx. 66,000 hectares) under cultivation. To support this, the company has developed a dedicated service plan, established a comprehensive database for the electricity usage of irrigation wells, and clarified responsibilities to ensure that all potential electrical issues are identified and addressed without exception.
In response to rising temperatures, a “green channel” has been launched to facilitate irrigation-related electricity needs. The company has implemented a 24-hour emergency response mechanism, simplified the process for temporary electricity access, and offers professional services such as free installation of leakage protectors and line maintenance. Leveraging the advantages of a “village-enterprise coordination” model, special focus has been placed on inspecting key equipment such as distribution boxes, water pumps, and cable joints. To date, more than 30 sections of aging power lines have been repaired, and over 300 safety manuals for electricity use have been distributed.
Additionally, the company has introduced an innovative “grid-based” service model, assigning a dedicated customer manager to each melon field.
