Vancouver, WA – As drone-related incidents grow more frequent at public events, infrastructure sites, and emergency scenes, Aerial Defense Systems (ADS) has released a new field-ready detection tool designed for public safety professionals. The ADS DroneTracker™ gives patrol officers and first responders the ability to detect, identify, and track drones in real time—without requiring fixed infrastructure or complex setup.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), more than 2.5 million drones are active across U.S. airspace. While many are operated safely, a growing number are being used to interfere with police activity, monitor secure areas, and deliver contraband. With FAA Remote ID requirements now fully enforced, agencies face growing pressure to identify and manage drone activity in the field.
The ADS DroneTracker is a lightweight (64g), wearable device designed for mobile deployment. It scans for drones broadcasting Remote ID signals, shows live flight paths and pilot locations, and provides secure data access via the ADS Command App.
